Walkouaiti - Waihola 11th February

58 miles (plus 1500 metres of climbing) The hills were tough today,(I'm knackered!). Tough going up and at times scary coming down.

Cycled into Dunedin, a very pleasant little city, quite an arty feel about it. There was a street fair taking place, fun to see, but a bit hard to negotiate with the bike, had nice lunch in town square.

Hills had been tough before lunch, but now they really got going. Apart from a beautiful stretch for a few miles along the coast, they were relentless.

Had an icecream in Brighton, also by the sea, but that is where the similarity ends. This Brighton had one shop and three people on a beautiful sandy beach.

Camped in Waihola, stange dinner(menu restricted by availability), baked beans, couscous and sardines, quite tasty. Followed by a Cadburys dairy milk, lovely!!
