The Journey

Yes, that's right, Sally is off on another jaunt. This time a combination of destinations, including two bike rides, in New Zealand and the USA.
I'm setting off on the 8th January 2017, firstly to Vietnam, followed by Sydney, both for a bit of tourism, (without bike). Then off to meet my trusted tourer in New Zealand (packed and sent ahead). Bike just about arrived in one piece,despite TNT best efforts not to deliver. Currently being looked after by Yola in Auckland (thank you Yola).
The NZ plan is to ride end to end (north and south island). Then having successfully (fingers crossed) completed this end to end challenge I will be heading off to for a bit of a rest in Fiji, before the second leg of cycling in the USA.
 My trip in the states will take me from San Diago, California to Saint Augustine, Florida over a two month period. West to East USA completed, I plan to nip into Mexico for a few days before heading back (Trump allowing) to Las Vegas for a joint birthday celebration with my daughter Clare.
So if your that way inclined, please feel free to follow along and experience the highs (and lows) of my trip of a lifetime ..... Here I go.....
