Riding through Cajun country, crawfish and rice fields.
Steve's wife came to meet us and brought dinner. Crawfish fettachini, a typical Cajun meal.
This was followed by King cake, a speciality mardi grai cake , all very tasty.
Cycled through a national. Park swamp lakes, turtles and alligators.
Sadly I didn't see an alligator, but others in the group did.
Met a nice guy ( Brett, photo below) along the way , he came out of his house to give me water. He said he had passed me on the road earlier and thought I might need a drink, very thoughtful. We had some nice group photos done the next morning.
