Bit of a strange day.
There has been a bit of a problem with one of the leaders.
This has resulted in a request for me to ride as 'The Sweep' to help out for three days.
The sweep role is to ride at the back of all the riders, carrying additional tools and first aid kit, making sure that I come into camp after all riders have arrived.
This can be a bit frustrating as some of the back riders are a lot slower than I tend to ride, making the day considerably longer than I would generally like.
Today I left camp at 8.3am, ( also can't leave till all have left) and got into camp about 6.20pm with the last rider.
