Started the day circumventing a very picturesque lake. Had thoughts about my usual Thursday mornings in the UK, very different to this one.
Some up hills and some very nice down hills. Often announced by down hill markers peppered with bullet holes!!
Tonight we are staying in a casino on an apache reservation( almost celebratory status, don't think they have had a bunch of cyclists staying here before), photos taken for their Facebook page. Very nice hotel, for us grubby cyclists, with a super pool to rest the weary muscles.
Slightly surreal experience. I was given a $25 voucher to spend on the slot machines. Took quite some time to lose the money on the voucher. Came out of the experience $6.00 up ( I think!)
