Short ride down to point lomo point about 17 miles. Through a milatary cemetery and into a national park. Lovely views across San Diego bay. This area has the Cabrillo national monument. In rememberence of the very first European to set foot (in 1542)on the west coast of the USA.
This evening walked into central San Diego, a part of the town called the 'Gaslight district'.
Apparently one of the oldest parts of city. Found a very nice Mexican restaurant. They only had room for me at the bar, which was fine. Nice meal, can't remember quite what I had, but know it included 'refried beans'. Never quite sure what that means! Reheated leftovers, is what always comes to mind!
