San Carlos Apache Reservation - Stafford 17th March.

76 miles.

First part of ride through the Apache reservation, stopped at a very poorly stocked store for water. I don't think there is a great deal of wealth in the reservation areas.

Stopped off in a interesting interesting bar, with an upside down Christmas tree hanging from the ceiling. Now idea why it was upside down.

The ride went through a lot of cotton country and although too early for this year's cotton, there was plenty of evidence previous seasons cotton on the roadside. Also a good view of the snowcapped Mount Graham along the route.

Stayed in a campsite with hot spring tubs, very relaxing after a long ride.
